This is done through personal nutritional understandings and suitable lifestyle recommendations.We are subjected to change all the time and when the body is strong and in a state of inner balance these external changes may not impact our inner balance but, in cases such as the changing of the seasons we need to take precautions and spend more time in preparation so the impact can be mitigated.The movement out of winter and into spring is a very powerful one. There is an upsurge of energy and activity in nature as kapha dosha is gradually being replaced with pitta dosha. This can have a negative effect on many people. Colds, allergies, excess phlegm, eye disorders, asthma, as well as digestion difficulties are very common.Ayurveda has many seasonal recommendations that can support a good transition and minimise negative effects.As we each have a unique dosha and constitution, we too have different issues and different needs.
