Testimonials for Yoga Therapy
“As a 63-year-old man with a chronic hip condition, it had been a long time since I stood up straight. I met Meni three months ago, and, through private tuition and then practice at home, I can now experience the joy of standing with both feet flat on the floor for the first time in nearly 13 years. This is the highlight but the overall improvement to my posture, flexibility and sense of well-being has been joyous. And I’ve only just started!”
Mr D. Heal. Capel Iwan
“Yoga therapy is brilliant and Meni is an excellent therapist with a deep understanding of many benefits of yoga. I have long standing back pain and the exercises helped enormously – both physically and mentally. Meni is a great teacher with infinite patience and the ability to explain clearly what is going on. I would thoroughly recommend Meni as a yoga therapist to anyone with back and joint conditions – it can change your life.”
Mrs H.B. Emlyn
“Meni listened to what I hoped to achieve from yoga therapy, and respecting that, he employed his vast knowledge and skills to formulate a plan suited to my identified needs. As such, I am able to own the programme.
His calm, re-assuring and encouraging approach is both motivating and empowering. Each session is a building block fundamental to the process of uncovering and developing personal, mental and physical attributes and abilities. The pace is self determent, aimed towards achieving satisfying and rewarding goals. I can practice anywhere in my own time, even when walking the dog (!) and can choose what to concentrate on. I feel that Yoga Therapy will be a long term investment that will promote my well being.”
Mrs M.M. Newcastle Emlyn
“Yoga should be on the NHS it literally made my life worth living. I had a skiing accident 25 years ago causing damage to disc 5/6 in my neck. Following an operation in May 2014, the disc was replaced, unfortunately the outcome wasn’t positive! The pain was intense and constant, no amounts of pain-killers would alleviate the symptoms. I also developed new pain radiating down my arm, wrist and fingers. My life became unbearable, I had to stop work as a Musician and couldn’t play anymore, I became a shadow of the person I once was.
Meeting Meni changed my life, I had 6 sessions of one to one. I shall always be grateful to him for his caring nature and energy he shared to get me on the road to recovery. He taught me how to breath effectively through the pain and to use my own muscles to create resistance. When I maintain the Yoga techniques he taught me my pain is bearable and I have my life back. Thank you so much for everything you did for me.”
